Bruce Ambrose was a “military brat,” living at many bases before settling in West Virginia in 1970. Bruce became a lawyer, specializing in litigation over a 40 year career. He practiced civil and criminal law in State and Federal courts, and he also served 29 years as a Judge Advocate in the Air Force, including a year at the US Embassy in Pakistan. From 2000-2016 he was an Assistant US Attorney in Orlando. He was a hospice volunteer in Orlando for 10 years. In 2000 he and his wife, Zohreh, moved from Orlando to Waterlefe. Zohreh works as a CRNA. He loves playing golf here, they enjoy dinners and entertainment at the River Club and outside Waterlefe. Bruce volunteers in local courts as a certified mediator. Having been on an HOA Board in Orlando, Bruce was pleased to continue his commitment for volunteering as the latest addition to the MPOA Board.

Jeff Brand
The most important thing to know about me is that I’m married to my wonderful bride of 34 years, Barbie. We met in England and got married in Minnesota on Dec. 22, 50 deqrees below zero wind chill. You know that is love. I served in the Air Force for 30 years and then retired. I was asked to join a Congressional commission that was tasked to study all the wartime contracting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Once completed, Barbie retired from the Air Force and we moved to Waterlefe in 2011. We took the first year off to learn how to be retired but quickly got into volunteering. We both joined the Community Emergency Response Team and later I became the co-lead. I have served as the president of the Waterlefe Men’s Golf Association as well as being on the CDD golf committee. I just started my 3rd term on the MPOA Board and look forward to supporting the community’s goals. We enjoy golf and travel as well as using the wonderful amenities of our great community.
